This is the same search page which PrfMagnet works with. Enter search information for your lines and see what comes up in the resulting lists of ancestors. Not only will you see how much is out there on your lines, you'll also get a much better idea of what PrfMagnet delivers compared with the web site alone. |

A: No, you do not. PrfMagnet pulls all the information it collects from the Pedigree Resource File at www.familysearch.org on the internet. |

| Q: What information will be included in the GEDCOM that I
export from PrfMagnet?
A: The on-line version of the Pedigree Resource File contains names, events, dates and submitter information. PrfMagnet collects all of this information except for the submitters personal informaton. Because notes and sources are not available on-line you will need to go to a family history center or purchase the CDs if you wish to get this information. |

Q: I get an error about needing .Net Framework 1.1.xxxxx on my PC when
installing. What do I do?
A: Some older versions of windows 2000 or XP do not already have the Microsoft .Net framework component installed. This is required on any PC running PrfMagnet. Go to www.microsoft.com and click downloads. Choose Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package. Click Download. Save to your desktop, and then doubleclick dotnetfx.exe on your desktop to install. Then install PrfMagnet.msi |
